Corpn Bank’s Srikakulam branch

Visakhapatnam, July 12

Corporation Bank opened a branch at Srikakulam on Thursday. According to a press release here, Mr Narayana Bhat, Head of the Vijayawada zone said that at present the bank had 34 branches and 3 extension counters in the zone, with deposits of Rs 465 crore and advances of Rs 403 crore as on March 31. Two more branches would be added soon – one at Kankipadu in Krishna district and the other at Kandukuru in Prakasam district. Three extension counters – located at Guntur, Nellore and Vizianagaram – would be upgraded into branches and 10 more branches would be opened during the current financial year, he added.
