Hyderabad, July 14

Demag India, a subsidiary of Demag Cranes and Components GmbH of Germany, has set a target to achieve Rs 100 crore turnover during the accounting year ending September 2007 against Rs 70 crore in the corresponding period last year.

Addressing a press conference here on Friday, Mr Vivek Shesh, Vice-President (Sales), said the contribution from the South was highest among the four regions in the country.

He was here in connection with the appointment of Gayatri Technology as Demag’s dealer for Andhra Pradesh.

The company hoped that the spurt in activity in industrial and infrastructure segments would help generate more business in the State.
