Banks pick up SICAL shares

Chennai, July 16

Credit Suisse Singapore Ltd and Macquarie Bank Ltd have picked up 20.50 shares each, close to 5 per cent each, in the Chennai-based Sical Logistics Ltd, the company informed the stock exchanges today. The shares were issued to the two financiers on preferential basis at a price of Rs 240 a share. Sical would therefore get Rs 98.40 crore from the issue. —
