Increasing exports: Jeera (cumin) kept for sale at a shop in Kochi, Kerala. Cumin exports increased during 2006-07 fiscal to 26,000 tonnes valued at Rs 201.50 crore against 12,879 tonnes valued Rs 98.19 crore the previous year. The unit value realisation increased from Rs 76 to Rs 78 per kg. –
