The board of directors of Punjab Tractors Ltd (PTL) has appointed Mr Anjanikumar Choudhari as Chairman of the company. Mr Choudhari is currently President (farm equipment sector) of Mahindra & Mahindra (M&M). In other appointments, Mr Bishwambhar Mishra has been appointed Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of PTL. Before joining the board of PTL in May as a nominee of M&M, Mr Mishra was President of M&M’s China operations. Mr A. M. Sawhney, associated with PTL since 1972 and currently Director (Marketing), has been promoted as Deputy Managing Director. —
