GTC Industries out of BIFR net

New Delhi, July 17

GTC Industries has come out of the purview of the Board for Industrial and Financial Reconstruction (BIFR) and has reported a positive net worth of Rs 38.82 crore for fiscal 2006-07, the company said in a release here. The company had filed an application with the board for discharging the company from the purview of the Sick Industrial Companies (Special Provision) Act 1985 following which the board passed the order.

In order to resolve the problems faced by the investors the company has set up an investor cell for providing information on latest financials and future activities of the company. This facility could also be used for redressal of shareholders' grievances, the release added. - Our Bureau
