Mergers & Acquisitions Bhilwara Scribe buys 2 healthcare BPOs
Our Bureau New Delhi, July 18 Bhilwara Scribe, the IT arm of the Rs 2,860-crore LNJ Bhilwara Group, today announced the acquisition of two BPOs in the healthcare segment. The company has acquired Seattle-based Benson Transcription Technologies to create a strong front-end in the US market, while simultaneously acquiring Bangalore-based medical transcription outfit, Global Meditrans. The company did not divulge the size of the two acquisitions. Benson Transcription has a track record of 15 years and has 50 US-based employees. It has a turnover of $2 million with another $2 million revenue to be added with the work in the pipeline. Global Meditrans is a 200-seat unit with a track record of seven years in providing services to various clients in the US and Canada.
