DLF betting big on Q1 numbers

Mumbai, July 18 The stock of DLF soared 5.78 per cent to Rs 645.40 on the BSE on Wednesday on expectations of good numbers. According to market sources, the company is expected to post a profit in the range of Rs 1,300-1,500 crore, which is more than two-thirds of the company's net profit for the fiscal ended March 2007.

The company reported a net profit of Rs 1,941.3 crore for FY-07. The stock has appreciated 9.31 per cent for the week. Over 58 lakh shares changed hands on the BSE on Wednesday while over one-crore shares were traded on the NSE.
