BoB pays Rs 59-cr final dividend

New Delhi, July 19

Bank of Baroda has paid Rs 58.8 crore to the Centre towards final dividend for the fiscal year 2006-07. The dividend cheque was handed over here to the Finance Minister, Mr P. Chidambaram, by the bank’s Chairman and Managing Director, Mr Anil K. Khandelwal. The bank had declared a dividend of 60 per cent, including a 30 per cent interim dividend, for 2006-07. As on June 30, 2007, the Centre had 53.81 per cent stake in BoB. —
