Aztecsoft Q1 net slips 39%

Aztecsoft Ltd has reported a 39 per cent decline in its net profit, while its revenues are marginally down for the first quarter over corresponding last year. Aztecsoft clocked a consolidated net profit of Rs 5.70 crore on revenues of Rs 59.07 crore against a net profit of Rs 9.27 crore on revenues of Rs 59.48 crore in corresponding last year.

Sequentially, the net profit fell by about 15.5 per cent, while revenues were down by five per cent. "After two flat quarters, we are seeing good growth ahead and our tight operations has enabled us to reduce the impact of rupee appreciation," said Mr V. Chandrashekaran, Managing Director, in a statement.
