Outlook IVRCL mulls entering new verticals
K.V. Kurmanath Hyderabad, July 20 IVRCL, a leading infrastructure development company, is planning to enter new verticals, while strengthening others in a variety of segments such as mining, railways, hydro power and oil and gas pipelines. Working on plans

The company foresees a huge opportunity in railways, with the Union Government contemplating laying exclusive freight corridors across the country. It executed a railway line project at Sholapur. In the mining segment, the company had bid for the uranium mining contract in Kadapa district. In hydro power, the company had executed a 22 MW (5.4x4) unit in Uttaranchal for a client. The company entered into an agreement with PTPS (Podvodtruboprovodstroy), Russia, eyeing the huge oil and gas pipeline opportunity opening up in the country.
