Goldstone inks pact with Shemaroo

Hyderabad, July 20 Goldstone Technologies has tied up with Shemaroo, one of the biggest names in Indian home entertainment, to source Hindi and other Indian regional movie content. The agreement involves 500 Hindi movies spread over a period of five years.

Goldstone will broadcast Hindi songs, regional Indian movies, assorted scenes and non-movie content. The content will be available on Goldstone’s patented technology for triple play services, which deliver quality video at 600 kbps. In a statement, Mr Nandan Kundetakar, Director of Goldstone, said “There is a huge market for content of this nature, not just in the Indian subcontinent but worldwide. The tie-up with Shemaroo will greatly enhance our portfolio of services.”
