The Institute of Management in Kerala, University of Kerala, will organise its annual management meet ‘Mania’ in the city on August 11-12.

This year’s event will have a series of lectures on management-related themes and a business quiz, says a statement issued by the institute. The lecture sessions will cover five broad areas — marketing, finance, information technology, human resources and entrepreneurship.

Speakers in the segment on marketing include Mr Prathap Suthan, National Creative Director, Grey Worldwide; Mr Vamsi Vanka, Media Director, Starcom IP India; and Mr Vishnu Athreya, Vice-President, Programming and Branding, Radio One, the statement adds.

The session on finance will feature presentations by Mr K.A. Somasekharan, CEO, Reliance General Insurance; Mr A. Sreekumar, AVP-ISC, SBI Mutual Fund; and Mr Anil A.V. of Kotak Mahindra Bank.

In the segment on information technology, speakers will include Dr Sourav Mukherji of IIM-B; Mr K. Radhakrishnan, CEO, Reliance Hypermarkets; and Mr Unni Sankar, Assistant Project Manager, NEST.
