Andhra Bank educational loans

Visakhapatnam, June 20

Andhra Bank is offering educational loans to engineering students at a rate of 12.5 per cent for loans up to Rs 4 lakh and 13.5 per cent for loans above the limit, said Mr K. Sethu Prasad, Deputy General Manager, Visakhapatnam zone.

In a press release issued here on Thursday, he said the admission into the various engineering colleges had begun on Thursday and students could avail themselves of loans in any of the 82 branches in the three districts of Visakhapatnam, Vizianagaram and Srikakulam. The maximum amount would be Rs 7.5 lakh, he said and added that there would be interest rebate of half a per cent for girl students. - Our Bureau
