Night vigil: A long queue of fans to purchase J.K. Rowling’s seventh and final Harry Potter book, ‘Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows’, during its launch at a Landmark outlet in Chennai on Saturday. Penguin India has tied up with Britain’s Bloomsbury to distribute 2.3 lakh copies in India. Most of these are expected to be sold in the first three days. Penguin India tied up with a security firm and a courier to deliver the books – which arrived at an undisclosed time from at an undisclosed point of origin in Britain – to the stores right before 6:30 a.m. to time with a global release. —
