Honda replacing Accord fuel pump relay

New Delhi, July 22Honda Siel Cars India has recalled the models of its Accord car sold in India during 2005 and 2006 to replace the relay of the fuel pump fitted into the vehicle at the time of manufacturing.

A total of 2,310 customers had purchased Accord during 2005 and 2006. The company has requested the car owners to get the relay of the fuel pump of the cars replaced from its service centres free of cost, the company said in a release.

It is also sending letters to the affected customers. The dealerships have been updated about the part replacement. The new part has been dispatched to the dealerships for speedy execution, to avoid any inconvenience to the customers.

The company is carrying out the part replacement to ensure quality standards for its products, the release added.
