More cement: Mr Kumar Mangalam Birla (left), Chairman, Century Textiles and Industries Ltd, and Mr E.B. Desai, Director, at the company’s AGM in Mumbai on Tuesday. The yarn and cement making company plans to set up a two-million-tonne cement manufacturing plant in Maharashtra, at a cost of Rs 965 crore. This will take Century’s cement capacity up to 11.3 million tonnes a year, the company said in a statement. —
