Satyam employee kidnapped

Hyderabad, July 24

An employee of Satyam Computer Services, Mr Satya Vedula, was allegedly kidnapped on Tuesday morning when he went to drop his children at school. The motive behind the kidnapping is not yet known. It is learnt that some auto drivers near the school witnessed the incident. Police have registered a case of kidnapping following a complaint by his family. Reacting to the development, in a statement Satyam said, “We have learnt of the kidnapping of our associate, Satya Ve dula from his family today morning. This unfortunate incident happened in Secunderabad. We are monitoring the situation with the police and are concerned about his safety. We pray for his speedy reunion with his family.”
