Sony Ericsson launches 8 new handsets

New Delhi, July 25 Handset manufacturer Sony Ericsson has launched eight new high end mobile phones ranging between Rs 14,000 and Rs 25,000. The company is hoping to double its sales in the country growing faster than the industry average of 70-80 per cent. The new handsets are aimed at consolidating Sony Ericsson’s position in music, smart phone and imaging categories. The company also announced the launch of new emotive series that focuses on individuals who love indulgence and pampering.

Mr Sudhin Mathur, General Manager – Sony Ericsson Mobile Communication India, said, “The customers want technologically advanced products that connect to their personality and requirements. At Sony Ericsson, we are committed to developing these distinctive products for our customers as mobile entertainment becomes more pervasive in India.”
