INX teaming up with 11 production houses for 9X

Mumbai, July 25 INX Media has announced signing India’s top eleven production houses as partners for 9X, the Hindi entertainment channel to be launched in the fourth quarter of 2007.

They are Balaji Telefilms Ltd, Synergy Adlabs, Creative Eye, Ugreya Entertainment, Endemol India, BAG Films & Media Ltd, Hats Off Productions, Miditech, Wizcraft International, Edit II Productions and Beyond Dreams Entertainment.

Ms Indrani Mukerjea, Promoter & Group Executive Director, INX Media, said: “Our aim is to make 9X a one stop entertainment shop offering the best of fiction and non fiction shows.”

INX Media Pvt Ltd is the owner of 9X general entertainment Hindi channel and 9XM youth music channel. Its sister company INX News Pvt Ltd is the owner of NewsX, a premium English news channel.
