Andhra Petro net rises

HYDERABAD: Andhra Petrochemicals Ltd’s net profit increased to Rs 11.72 crore (Rs 1.56 crore) in the first quarter ended June 30, 2007. Gross sales increased to Rs 73.78 crore (Rs 57.14 crore).

The increase in profit was on account of better sales realisation and reduction in cost of power due to installation of UPS system. During the quarter, the company received two investor complaints which had been disposed of and there were no complaints at the end of the quarter, according to a release. – Our Bureau
