IHCL’s new biz hotel in Pune

Indian Hotels Company Ltd (IHCL), running the Taj group of hotels, has entered into a management contract for a Gateway Hotel in Hinjewadi, Pune with Paranjape Schemes Construction Ltd, said a release. The new hotel will be a part of the Taj Business Hotels portfolio.

The company chose Hinjewadi for its second property as it plans to tap the growing IT and biotech opportunities in Pune, with a large corporate clientele base. The Gateway hotel would be a 150-room mid-market hotel, with a multi-cuisine restaurant, a bar, banqueting, meeting and business centre facilities and a health club.
