Talbros Auto net up 9.7%

New Delhi, July 26

Talbros Automotive Component Ltd has reported a 9.77 per cent increase in its net profit at Rs 1.46 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2007 from Rs 1.33 crore in the same period last year.

The company recorded a 30.44 per cent increase in its net sales at Rs 38.48 crore (Rs 29.50 crore). It mainly supplies gaskets to companies such as Ashok Leyland, Hyundai Motors and Hero Honda. In a statement issued here, the company said that the production at its forging plant was being scaled up for which it had orders worth over Rs 40 crore mainly from the export market. It expects to start bulk production for these orders from September 2007. - Our Bureau
