New Delhi, July 26 Bisleri International Pvt Ltd, the packaged water brand, is hoping to grow at 78 per cent in the current fiscal on the back of increasing capacity.

“Bisleri the brand is doing extremely well. In fact, we intend to grow at 78 per cent in 2007-08,” said Mr Ramesh Chauhan, Chairman.

“We have a aggressive growth plan in place. Not only will we develop the brand further through several marketing initiatives, we also plan on setting up more manufacturing facilities in the country. Actually our current television campaign for Bisleri has worked wonders for the brand giving it a big boost,” said Mr Chauhan.

On reports of Bisleri talking to several FMCG majors for a sell out, Mr Chauhan said, “The question of selling out Bisleri does not arise at all, especially since it’s doing so well. There are a lot of people who have shown interest in Bisleri as a brand and have been chasing me for sometime now because it is the only profitable brand and is dominating the water industry. I am enjoying the tremendous growth due to the new positioning and advertising.”
