GSK Pharma Q2 net up 6%

Mumbai, July 26 GlaxoSmithKline Pharmaceuticals has posted a growth in net profit of close to six per cent, for the second-quarter quarter ended June 30, 2007, driven by double-digit growth by certain products. It clocked net profits of Rs 96.43 crore against Rs 91.06 crore. The growth in sales of the ongoing businesses was 5.2 per cent, the company said. Total income (net of excise) stood at Rs 426.82 crore(Rs 425.65 crore).
