Four international plays and eight Indian plays is what one can look forward to in this year’s edition of The Hindu Metroplus Theatre Festival, an-eleven day event starting August 2.

Theatre groups from New York (Awaken Productions), Chicago (Pegasus Players), Berlin (Familie Floz), Columbo (Stages Theatre Group), Bangalore (Harami Theatre), Imphal (Chorus Repertory Theatre), Mumbai (Masque) and New Delhi (Natwa) will be staging performances at the Music Academy in Chennai, while four city based groups (The Madras Players, The Grossly Commercial Theatre Company, Stagefright and Boardwalkers) would stage their plays at the Sivagami Pettachi Auditorium.
