Madurai, July 27

An exhibition showcasing lifestyle jute diversified products opened at Chellam Plaza in the city on Friday. Organised jointly by the Jute Manufacturers Development Council, Ministry of Textiles, and National Centre For Jute Diversification, the jute fair with 30 participants from across the country this year, offers attractive chudidhar materials, wall decorative pieces, terracotta embedded items, jute bags that can hold more weight, folders with tribal arts of various sta tes, necklace and 24 CD cases in attractive colours and many more. The exhibition, inaugurated by Ms Thenmozhi Gopinathan, Mayor, Madurai Corporation, will be on show till August 3.
