NTPC in pact with BARC

New Delhi, July 21

NTPC on Friday announced it has signed an MoUwith Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC) for development of automated boiler tube inspection system in coal-based thermal power plants. The collaboration would be of great utility to the power company for competency building in new technology development for inspection of boiler tubes, NTPC said in a regulatory filing to the BSE. The MoU also provides for future assistance from BARC for any new requirements related to the system, it added. –
