New Delhi, July 27

Engineering and construction firm Punj Lloyd Ltd has bagged a Rs 498 crore order from Reliance Gas Transportation and Infrastructure Ltd (RGTIL) for laying pipeline and associated facilities for the latter’s East-West pipeline project. “The contract is for laying off a 48-inch pipeline and associated facilities, with varying wall thickness for 285 km, with nine MLV stations, two compressor stations, two tap-off stations and seven river crossings,” Punj Ll oyd said in a statement. This order is inclusive of the Rs 180.16 crore order placed earlier by RGTIL to the company, it said. The order would be split into four spreads falling in the states of Gujarat and Maharashtra.
