Roadways States - Other States Rs 86.7 cr for Haryana roads sanctioned
Our Bureau New Delhi, July 27 The Union Minister of Shipping, Road Transport and Highways, Mr T.R. Baalu, has sanctioned Rs 86.7 crore under the Central Road Fund Scheme for strengthening and improving various road stretches in Haryana. The sanction includes Rs 3,643.15 lakh for widening and strengthening along with reconstruction of concrete pavement in a section of Jhajjar to Kosli in Jhajjar district, said an official press release. In Rohtak, four-laning and strengthening of sections of Old DHS road and Railway Road would in taken up in Sampla town at a cost of Rs 1,070.17 lakh and Rs 118.10 lakh, respectively. Similarly, Rs 379.58 lakh has been sanctioned for widening and strengthening of a section covering Jhajjar Chowk to Railway Phatak in Sampla town in Rohtak district. Road improvement work has also been sanctioned for the section of Murthal- Sonipat- Kharkhoda- Sampla- Jhajjar– Dadri Road in Bhiwani district at a cost of Rs 2,106.28 lakh. In Mohendergarh district, widening and strengthening of sections of Mohindergarh-Dadri road would be taken up at a cost of Rs 342.67 lakh. Mr Baalu has also sanctioned Rs 1,009.45 lakh for widening and strengthening of scattered stretches of Tohana-Dharsul-Ratia-Rori road in Fatehabad, the release added.
