Pune, July 27 Ganage Group of Industries, suppliers of the auto component, has launched Rojee Tasha Technologies Pvt Ltd (RTTEC) to impart training and create a talent pool of engineering professionals in the city.

Talking to presspersons, Mr Tushar Ganage, Director, Ganage Group, and Mr Yashodhan Shukla, Director, RTTEC, said an investment of Rs 40 crore has been utilised for setting up the modern tool room and design centre.

A further investment of Rs 60 crore has been envisaged for upgradation. As a rough estimate, the auto hub would require more than 20,000 trained engineers by 2010, he noted.

Mr Shukla said that RTTEC would offer CAD/CAM/CAE training to individuals and corporates, and training in legacy data conversion modelling, assembly, detailing and data migration. It would also offer design support in product design, tool design and reverse engineering apart from CAE and simulation stress, thermal and mould flow.

Mr Ganage added that such an initiative had been unveiled with Pune’s automotive profile shifting into top gear as global auto majors General Motors and Volkswagen are in the process of putting up shop in Pune’s vicinity, in addition to existing giant Daimler Chrysler and joint ventures such as Tata-Fiat and Force Motor-Man.
