Taj GVK Q1 net at Rs 15 cr

HYDERABAD: Taj GVK Hotels and Resorts Ltd has registered a total income of Rs 57.20 crore (Rs 56.87 crore) for the first quarter ended June 30, 2007. The profit after tax was put at Rs 15.07 crore (Rs 14.79 crore), a company release sa id. Meanwhile, the company has announced that it was planning to set up a 150-room five-star hotel in Amritsar under a lease agreement. The Taj Deccan in Hyderabad would have 180 rooms more at an estimated cost of Rs 100 crore.
