Natco Pharma PAT dips to Rs 7.7 cr

Hyderabad, July 28

Natco Pharma Ltd’s profit after tax (PAT) decreased by over 12 per cent to Rs 7.7 crore in the first quarter ended June 30, 2007 against Rs 8.7 crore in the comparable quarter of last fiscal year. However, the total revenues increased 23 per cent to Rs 58 crore (Rs 47 crore). Owing to an extraordinary income of Rs 1.16 crore (net of taxes) during the first quarter, the profit after tax was higher in the last fiscal, according to a release. —
