Our Bureau

Kochi, July 29 The State Industries Department in association with the Kerala Bureau of Industrial Promotion (K-BIP), Kerala State Industrial Development Corporation Ltd (KSIDC) and Kerala Industrial Infrastructure Development Corporation (KINFRA) is organising a Trade and Technology Business Show from September 27 to 29 in Kochi.

The meet aims at bringing together buyers from across India and abroad to interact directly with sellers from small and medium enterprises in the State. It will also introduce manufacturers to new technologies to help increase competitiveness, a press release said.

The business show will highlight the industrial agility and knowledge-based skills available in the State. Among the sectors to be showcased are food and agro processing, Ayurveda and herbal, coir, handlooms, handicrafts, bamboo and screw pine, and rubber and rubber products. Over 70 exhibitors will showcase their machinery and technology.

The Government decided to organise the business show as it found that the B2B meets organised in the past did not yield desired results.
