Given addl charge of Tuticorin port

Chennai, July 29

Mr K. Suresh, Chairman, Chennai Port Trust, has been given additional charge to manage the Tuticorin Port Trust and the Sethusamudram Ship Canal Project. Mr N.K. Raghupathy, Chairman, Tuticorin Port Trust and Chairman and Managing Director of Sethusamudram Ship Canal Project, was granted leave by the Shipping Ministry, according to a source. “I had a press meet on Saturday . After that I was asked to hand over both the posts to Mr K. Suresh. I cannot tell anything be yond this,” Mr Raghupathy told Business Line.
