Kalam joins research body board

Hyderabad, July 30

The former President, Mr A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, has joined the Governing Board of EMRI (Emergency Management and Research Institute) as Chairman Emeritus.

The not-for-profit organisation offers emergency medical care services to accident victims, in association with the State Government and private and public hospitals.

“I am quite delighted to participate in scaling up EMRI to national level,” Mr Kalam said on joining the institute.
