Subex Azure net tad down

Bangalore, July 30 Subex Azure posted a consolidated net profit of Rs 21.5 crore for the first quarter of 2007-08 compared to Rs 27 crore last quarter. Revenue stood at Rs 131.65 crore ($32.42 million) for the quarter ended June 30.

Standalone net sales marginally declined to Rs 42.76 crore from Rs 43.45 crore on a year-on-year basis while standalone net profit increased to Rs 14 crore from Rs 4.03 crore.

The revenue from products for this period stood at Rs 100 crore contributing 76.3 per cent to total revenue. This drop was due to deferment in execution of some projects.

Integrating Syndesis

The company has been focusing on integration of Syndesis in the first quarter and all departments except engineering have been successfully integrated. FY08 guidance is Rs 615 crore in product revenue and a net profit of Rs 155 crore. The company is confident of meeting its revenue and profit guidance for the current financial year.
