Bartronics net, sales double

Hyderabad, July 31 Bartronics India recorded sales of Rs 25.43 crore and profit of Rs 4.76 crore for the first quarter ended June 30, 2007 against sales of Rs 12.26 crore and a profit of Rs 2.20 crore for the corresponding quarter last year.

Last fiscal ended March 31, 2007, the company recorded sales of Rs 63.49 crore and a profit of Rs 13.46 crore.

During the quarter, the company incorporated a wholly-owned subsidiary in Singapore and raised $25 million through private placement.
