BoI pays final dividend to Centre

New Delhi, August 1

Bank of India (BoI) has paid a 15 per cent final dividend amounting to Rs 50.79 crore to the Government for the financial year 2006-07. The dividend cheque was handed over to the Union Finance Minister, Mr P Chidambaram, by the bank’s Chairman and Managing Director, Mr T.S.Narayanasami, here today. Also present on the occasion were the bank’s executive directors Mr K.R.Kamath and Mr A.D.Parulkar. For 2006-07, BoI had declared a dividend of 35 per cent including an interim dividend of 20 per cent. —
