Talking to presspersons after the annual general meeting, Mr Anant Talaulicar, Chairman and Managing Director, said the company is expanding its business in the alternator and power generator devices.

He said it is setting up the Ranjangaon plant for the alternator segment and that it would begin commercial production by January 2008. This would be in addition to the Ahmednagar plant, which is also catering to the alternator division.

Mr Anant said it is also setting up the power generator devices unit at Pirangut in Pune, which would triple the capacity.
