Archies Q1 net slips 4.46%

New Delhi, Aug 2

Archies Ltd has reported 4.46 per cent fall in net profit for the first quarter ended June 30, 2007 at Rs 1.07 crore from Rs 1.12 crore in the same period of the previous year. The company, however, reported an increase of 21.66 per cent in its net sales to Rs 21.68 crore (Rs 17.82 crore). The company also announced the appointment of Mr Pramod Arora as the Joint Managing Director of Archies Ltd. Archies is also planning to open 30 new outlets in the next nine months. - Our Bureau
