Whirlpool Onam sales target

Kochi, Aug. 2

To cash in on the ensuing Onam festival season, Whirlpool of India is targeting a sales of Rs 60 crore during the season from Kerala market. The company has unveiled its new products across four categories – refrigerators, washing machines, air-conditioners, microwaves and dryers in the State at a function here on Thursday. Mr Shantanu Das Gupta, Vice-President (Marketing), said Whirlpool has a market share of 20 per cent in the State and the company has registered a 30 per cent sales growth in the first six months of the current fiscal in the State. —
