New Products & Services States - Tamil Nadu Seiko Watch launches new lines in Chennai
Our Bureau Chennai, Aug. 2 Seiko Watch India Pvt Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Japanese watch maker Seiko Watch Corporation, launched its products in Chennai today. Over 100 watches under three lines – Sportura, Premier and Spring Drive, are now available in major multi-brand stores across the city. It also plans to open some outlets in metros “to give the consumer a total Seiko brand experience”. Priced in the range of Rs 6,700 to Rs 1,70,000, the watches are imported from Japan and Hong Kong. According to Mr Atsushi Kaneko, Managing Director, Seiko Watch India, “the company has no plans to manufacture them in India for the time being”. Seiko already has 10 service centres in major cities across the country and would work towards enhancing its network further, he said.
