Gati revenues rise 22% at Rs 461 cr

Hyderabad, Aug 2 Gati, a leading express distribution and supply chain solutions company, has registered revenues of Rs 461.03 crore for the year ended June, against Rs 376.24 crore in the previous year, showing a growth of 22.54 per cent.

Net profit rose to Rs 23.36 crore (Rs 19.56 crore), said Mr Mahendra Agarwal, Managing Director and CEO.

The board of directors, which met on Thursday, recommended a dividend of 40 per cent (35 per cent).

It also approved a plan to issue 17.55 lakh shares of Rs 2 each under employees’ stock option scheme.

The earnings per share for the year stood at Rs 3.23 (Rs 2.76).

“We have opened seven express distribution centres and plan to open 11 more across the country in the next two years,” he said.

“We are also going to deploy five domestic freighters.”
