Radio One gets new CEO

New Delhi, Aug. 2

Mr Vineet Singh Hukmani will be joining as CEO of Radio One. A Mid-Day Multimedia and BBC Worldwide joint venture, the FM radio is to start its operations in Ahmedabad, Pune and Kolkata soon. “We are looking to build the FM network of metro cities that matter. Mr Vineet’s experience in radio, music and advertising will help us in defining what urban radio in this country is all about and strengthen synergies across our newspaper, radio and digital plays,” said Mr Tariq Ansari, Managing Director, Mid-Day Multimedia.

Mr Hukmani was earlier COO (India and South West Asia) of Cheil Communications, Samsung’s in-house agency.
