Pune, Aug . 5

DEP-AIL Solutions has launched Meshworks Morpher 4.0 in India to address the gaps in product development in the design engineering market. Speaking to newspersons, Mr K. Radha Krishnan, President, and Mr Sri Bramadesam, Director, said the software would enable the customer to rapidly generate a newer design by morphing the existing model to a target new design.

Costing between Rs 5 lakh (annual lease price for basic software) and Rs 9 lakh, the product was mostly developed in India from the Chennai and Pune centres. Chennai has some 60 staff and Pune 55. The company is looking at revenues of $1 million from India within 12 months. It plans to take the help of channel partners for distribution. The Michigan-based DEP was recently acquired by the Pune-based Autoline Industries Ltd (AIL).Product development had been funded by AIL, which had infused capital of $3 million. –
