The Hindu Business Line : Mangalore team wins award

A group of four friends from Mangalore has received the ‘Kurkure Chai Time Achievers’ recognition for its recipe ‘Kurkure Puliyogare’. Addressing presspersons here, Mr S. Sunil Kumar, Vice-President, Sales-South, Pepsico India Holdings Pvt Ltd, FritoLay Division, said that a group of friends — Mr Sajan Salian, Mr Yashwant Shetty, Mr Mohammed Sadique and Mr Prakash Shetty, who formed a ‘family’ — is one among the 41 winners of the ‘Kurkure Chai Time Achievers’ campaign. Photograph of the winners from Mangalore will be printed on 10 lakh Kurkure packs. Over one lakh recipes were received in the campaign. Of the 41 winner families, 16 families’ photographs are already on Kurkure packs, he said. –
