Spice Tele expanding in State

Bangalore, Aug. 6

Spice Telecom is expanding its network and improving the infrastructure and technology resources reach in Karnataka. It has tripled the number of towers across the State. Earlier, Spice had increased switch capacity, thereby increasing the capabilities of the Spice network to accommodate more users. “We have moved from covering 60 towns in Karnataka last year to 260 towns today and in the next few months, we will add on 300 more towns,” said Mr. Navin Kaul, Chi ef Operating Officer, Spice Telecom. Spice has also embarked on a multimedia campaign to take the message of ‘Jaasthi network’ to the masses. Currently covering two circles – Punjab and Karnataka, Spice has a base of over 2 million subscribers. —
