New BVB president

Kolkata, Aug. 7

Mr Surendralal G. Mehta, a leading philanthropist of Kolkata, has been elected President of Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan and Mr Murli Deora, Union Minister for Petroleum and Natural Gas, and Mr Srikrishna, former Judge of Supreme Court of India and currently Chairman of the Sixth Pay Commission, the Vice-Presidents, according to a press release issued by Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan. —
