Punj Lloyd bags Bina contract

New Delhi, Aug. 7

Punj Lloyd Ltd has secured Rs 590-crore contract for building a sulphur block at Bina Refinery of Bharat Oman Refineries Ltd at Bina, Madhya Pradesh. The lump-sum turnkey contract entails engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning assistance (EPCC) services. According to a statement issued by Punj Lloyd, the scope of work includes a 360 TPD sulphur recovery unit, 470 TPH amine recovery unit, 360 TPD tail gas treatment unit, and 125 TPH and 49 TPH sour water s tripping units. The project is scheduled to be completed within 25 months. Bina refinery project is a 6-MMTPA grass root refinery.
